    Q. ABC & Co. is a partnership firm carrying on trading activities. The firm is paying rent to one of the partners for using his premises in the business. Whether the rent paid by the firm to the partner is allowed as deduction u/s 30 while calculating PGBP income?

    Default Relevant Case Law: Heastie v. Veitch & Co. [1934] 2 ITR 456 (CA)

    In the above case, it was held that rent paid by the firm to the landlord partner is allowed u/s 30.
